2016 Special guests
Melissa Ebbe
Ever since seeing Michael Jackson's Thriller video at a very young age, Melissa Ebbe has longed to work in special effects. After pursuing more traditional art mediums and earning her BFA, MA and MFA, Melissa finally decided to pursue her lifelong dream of learning how to do special effects and taught herself how to make prosthetics and apply make-ups. She is currently working as an artist and business owner at Feral Works, where she produces masks, statues and other effects-influenced artwork.

Infinite Sky Cosplay
Founded on the belief that cosplay is for everyone, Infinite Sky Cosplay is a collaboration of cosplay artists and friends- numbering up to 8 members! The group’s main focus has always been about the craft of cosplay and the fun that goes along with a challenge; creating their cosplay and competing across the Midwest. Missy Brightside and Vetgeek , representing the group at Kappa Kon, are wicked excited to be in Milwaukee! Veteran cosplayers and cosplay judges, they are avid believers in body image positivity and inclusivity in cosplay. Creating cosplay by the code “if it’s pretty/cool, let’s make it” and walking through fabric stores just to touch all the fabric, the friends have been a part of every level of the Midwest cosplay scene; from working as convention staff to MCing Daisho Con’s 2015 Cosplay Contest! Join them this weekend to celebrate cosplay!

Mikaila Cosplay
Mikaila Cosplay is a local Wisconsin and midwest cosplayer, attending nearly 20 conventions in the past 4 years. Though she is well known for her Kageyama Tobio (Haikyuu), and Medli (LoZ- Windwaker) cosplays, she has done over 15 different characters, and hopes to continue that number growth. She has been practicing makeup for over 7 years and has found it as one of her biggest strengths. Whether it's blush, or fake blood, she will always find reasons to create more makeup looks for characters.
She is honored to share her skill and passion as a guest at Kappa Kon 2016

Constellation Chaos Cosplay have been cosplaying for 6 years since they were 13 years old. The first cosplays they did together as a pair were Liz and Patty from Soul Eater which became one of their most well known costumes. Anywhere from Liz and Patty to Panty and Stocking to Anna and Elsa to Marie and Callie at this years ACEN. They love to cosplay outside of conventions at different charity events as well usually as princesses. Guesting here will be their first guest appearance.

Rose of Frozen Rose Cosplay
Rose is a local Wisconsin cosplayer, and part of the cosplay duo" Frozen Rose," who attend cons and compete in masquerades, as well as judge them. She has been cosplaying for 6 years, and has no plans on stopping anytime soon! Rose fell in love with anime (especially Sailor Moon) and video games in her youth, enjoying the stories they told and their dynamic character designs. Wanting to recreate these designs, Rose learned the basics of sewing from her grandmother, and from there her love of creation of costumes grew. Since she jumped into the world of cosplay creation, she has made many costumes, varying from anime heroines like Princess Serenity (Sailor Moon) and Hikaru (Magic Knight Rayearth), to video game classics like Amy (Soul Calibur) and Charizard (Pokemon), just to name a few. She is happy to be part of Kappa Con 2016, and to help spread the cosplay love to all!
